Discovering Lunenburg - Boats and Social
On the first Friday of every month there is a gathering in a wonderful old boat shed on the water at Indian Point. Its called ‘The Non Shareholders Meeting’. This community social event is hosted by Bill Lutwick, master boat builder and all round good fellow. Wine, nibbles and boat talk in an exquisite setting. What could be better? In the shed at the moment is the schooner ‘Amasonia’ undergoing a comprehensive restoration. She will be back in action next summer and we look forward to racing against her in the Nova Scotia Schooner Assoc. regatta next August.
